Job Purpose

To develop, design, and optimize products, structures, or components using specialized 3D design software, ensuring the functionality, quality, aesthetics, and manufacturability of company projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and renderings of products or structures.

• Interpret design requirements from clients or the sales department.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and purchasing departments to validate the technical feasibility of designs.

• Generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications).

• Participate in product development and continuous improvement meetings.

• Ensure designs comply with internal quality and safety standards.

• Conduct simulations or virtual tests when required by the project.

• Propose improvements to materials, processes, or design methods to optimize costs and manufacturing times.

• Provide technical support to the production department during project manufacturing or installation.

• Maintain up-to-date digital design files and backups.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Rhino, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.

   

• Knowledge of technical drawings, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.

   

• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.

   

• Basic knowledge of strength analysis or simulation (desirable).
