Bilingual Sales Specialist | Japanese & Intermediate English

A Japanese company is currently looking for talent to join its Sales team as a Sales Specialist, focused on customer service, commercial follow-up, and the development of new business opportunities within the automotive and/or chemical industry.

 

We are looking for a person with a strong customer-service orientation, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to follow up on commercial projects, maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, and contribute to the achievement of monthly and annual sales goals.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Provide support and follow-up to the assigned customer portfolio.

Contact new customers to contribute to the achievement of commercial goals.

Maintain constant communication with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and service.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports, meeting minutes, and documentation required by customers.

Follow up on activity calendars and commercial projects.

Coordinate with internal areas such as Production, Quality, Technical Service, Warehouse, and Logistics.

Support preliminary price calculations according to internal policies.

Research market conditions, trends, competitors, and customers.

Support customer audits, plant visits, and certification follow-up.

Participate in the preparation of sales budgets and action plans.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commercial Relations, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in paint, automotive, or chemical companies.

Advanced / Native Japanese.

Intermediate-Advanced English.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Basic knowledge of costs, margins, market analysis, and commercial negotiation.

Knowledge of SAP, data analysis, and project management is desirable.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
