Objective:
To ensure the factory's internal quality performance by maintaining process stability, improving production capacity, and preventing defects through systematic problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

Lead process reviews and control plan updates to ensure robust process control and effective risk mitigation.

Monitor SPC trends to detect process changes and verify the timely and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Actively participate in Quality, Reliability, and Quality Control (QRQC) meetings, drive root cause analysis related to processes, and ensure the resolution of quality issues.

Maintain ownership of critical quality documents and ensure their accuracy.
Problem Solving:

8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa (fishbone) analysis to lead structured problem-solving activities.

Support cross-functional teams to identify the root causes and implement strong containment and permanent corrective actions.

Data-driven decision-making by leveraging process capability (Cp/Cpk), Pareto analysis, and statistical tools.

Methods for implementing inspection, testing, and evaluation of the reliability of manufacturing processes, products, and production equipment.

Ensure the process meets quality standards

Reports for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

Initiate and lead quality improvement projects and teams.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in a quality-engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry.

Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP (including submissions), FMEA, MSA, and SPC.

Proficient in quality tools and techniques (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc.).

Knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.

Schedule availability for working overtime.

Proficiency in Spanish and English languages (written and verbal)
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7am to 5pm
Friday: 7am to 3pm
