We are seeking a senior operations leader to oversee the launch, consolidation, and long-term growth of a new automotive manufacturing facility in Querétaro. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role within a global operations network—ideal for a leader with strong technical depth, strategic perspective, and the ability to build a world-class operation from the ground up.

Strategic Scope of the Role

• Lead the full greenfield launch: equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and transition to stable production.

• Build and develop the site leadership team across Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials.

• Ensure operational excellence aligned with global standards in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

• Establish structured processes, visual management, and a Lean culture from day one.

• Partner directly with global teams in the U.S., China, and additional regions to ensure alignment and best-practice implementation.

• Serve as the site’s cultural anchor, shaping community reputation and fostering strong labor relations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.

• 5+ years in plant-level or multi-area operational leadership roles.

• Proven experience launching new operations or scaling high-growth facilities.

• Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Solid knowledge of Mexican labor law, IMSS, STPS, and multi-shift operations.

• Bilingual: English–Spanish (Chinese conversational is a plus).

• Mexican citizenship.

• Availability to travel to the U.S. and China for training, alignment, and operational readiness.
