Position Summary
The Jr. Buyer is responsible for supporting procurement activities for the company´s operations in Tijuana. This role will focus on sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating purchase approvals and material receipt, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with project requirements. The Jr. Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Operations, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct vendor searches, qualification, and onboarding in alignment with company requirements

Request and evaluate quotations (RFQs) from vendors

Prepare and submit purchase approval requests

Place and track purchase orders ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials

Coordinate with warehouse and receiving teams for material intake and quality confirmation

Assist Finance with 3-way match processes (PO, invoice, and receiving verification)

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Support sourcing of construction materials, hardware, millwork components, and specialty finishes

Collaborate with U.S.-based team to support international purchasing and cross-border compliance
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

2–3 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within construction, hardware, manufacturing, or furniture-making industries

Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required

Experience in international procurement, U.S.-Mexico trade, or maquiladora environments (Preferred)

Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with purchasing workflows and documentation processes
