Role Overview: As a support engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting other engineering teams to use CAD tools and flows developed by world-wide frontend CAD. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation, providing support to internal teams, and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering principles to develop and optimize CAD tools and flows to enhance productivity, efficiency, and results.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and tools.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams on CAD automation tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in automation processes.
- Coordinate issues and initiatives with HW, SW, IT, and EDA engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Conduct self-guided research and participate in periodic training to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and incorporating new methods into daily work.
- Propose and execute innovative solutions to complex problems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our CAD automation capabilities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiar with Linux operating system.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, GNU Make.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Plus: Knowledge in VLSI (Very-Large-Scale Integration) design and verification, and EDA tools.
