Responsible for managing the company’s internal customs and logistics activities, ensuring accurate information, efficient material flow, and compliance with company requirements. Serves as the main point of contact between internal departments and the shelter’s customs and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import and export requirements with the shelter team.

  • Provide accurate and timely information and documentation required for customs operations.

  • Monitor shipments, deliveries, and material movement to support production requirements.

  • Follow up with the shelter on customs clearance, transportation, and shipment status.

  • Coordinate logistics priorities with purchasing, planning, warehouse, production, and customer service teams.

  • Maintain internal records related to materials, shipments, and customs documentation.

  • Verify that part numbers, descriptions, quantities, values, and country-of-origin information are accurate.

  • Support inventory reconciliation and investigate discrepancies related to shipments.

  • Monitor logistics performance, lead times, delays, and related costs.

  • Identify risks that could affect material availability or customer deliveries.

  • Escalate customs, transportation, or documentation issues to the shelter and internal management.

  • Develop and improve internal customs and logistics procedures.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing the required records and information.

  • Lead and develop the internal customs and logistics team.

  • Ensure effective communication between the company, the shelter, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience in customs, import/export, transportation, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.

  • General knowledge of customs regulations and international trade processes.

  • Experience working under a shelter administration is preferred.

  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on urgent shipments.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
