Process Engineer | Plant Start-Up | Querétaro

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a strong manufacturing background who is ready to take on the challenge of actively participating in the start-up and stabilization of a new operation. This role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in the installation, definition, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in plant start-up activities and new product launches.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare and follow up on APQP, PPAP, and SPC documentation.
  • Define process parameters and ensure their proper implementation in production.
  • Participate in the installation, start-up, and validation of machinery and equipment.
  • Use AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for design, layouts, and process improvements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support on the production floor for troubleshooting and process stabilization.
  • Support activities related to PLC control and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and follow up with personnel involved in assigned operations and projects.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in manufacturing companies, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in plant start-ups and/or new product launches.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and SPC.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with plastic injection molding and/or metalworking processes.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • Valid passport is required.
  • Valid U.S. visa is preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
