General Summary:
As a Support Engineer, you will significantly contribute to our product improvement and work with other Engineers to sustain aspects of our product development life cycle. Support Engineers will also play a critical role in resolving technical system issues that promote product reliability. You will have endless opportunities to learn and grow in the Engineering development space.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Electronics or related area.
• Military experience or training in electronics field (Rank E5+ 1 year).
• 3+ years of experience with digital HW, SW, and/or analog RF troubleshooting and debugging.
• 3+ years of experience in a lab environment.
• 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs organizational, low-level debug, development, and process and/or product test support tasks. Executes modifications and revisions of electronic parts, software, system, components or circuitry.
• Provides layout and design support for engineers and recommendations for small projects.
• Installs, upgrades, configures, and helps operate company products and/or components based on specifications, tolerances and reliability. Monitors product performance and analyzes failures or malfunctions.
• Gathers and integrates data and information from multiple sources and stakeholders to understand specifications and execute tasks.
• Collaborates with individuals inside own team and across other teams to complete project work and executes individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Level of Responsibility:
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
