General Summary:
Seeking motivated engineer with strong background in semiconductor device physics to aid in the development of semiconductor device models targeting RF Front End applications. An ideal candidate will help design, characterize and analyze semiconductor devices and work to create, modify and integrate device level models into an integrated circuit design environment. Close and cross-functional collaboration with multiple engineering teams will help to drive technological advancements in analog, digital and RF circuit designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and perform characterizations of semiconductor devices (IV, CV, small and large signal etc.).
- Analyze large data sets and summarize findings of semiconductor devices
- Circuit simulation of single devices to larger integrated circuits
- Compare simulated to measured data
- Develop device level models based on measured data and integrate into design environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in working with typical electronics lab hardware
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++)
- Solid understanding of design, fabrication and usage of semiconductor devices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with on-wafer semiconductor device level measurements
- Familiarity with IC design tools such as ADS or Cadence and/or IC-CAP(Pathwave)
- Experience working with SPICE level compact models
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
