Support Engineers are responsible for providing design support at a foundational or organizational level throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through project completion. The role involves completing design tasks of limited scope that follow well-defined technical requirements and established schedules.
Support Engineers may work across multiple application domains, including analog, RF, and digital systems. Work is typically performed independently, with collaboration and consultation from other engineering resources as needed.
Required skills / experience
- BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3 yrs applicable experience
- Digital/baseband & analog circuit experience
- Strong lab skills (strong debugging skills, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
- Proficient in English
The following skills are highly desired
- Experience working with 1GHz+ ARM or x86 hardware platforms that include DDRx
- memory interfaces.
- Experience working on signal and power integrity issues.
- Familiarity with high-speed serial interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.)
- Familiarity with power supply design / topologies and low-power design techniques
