Responsibilities:

• AP/GL accountant, the majority of responsibilities focus on accounts payable (70%) and 30% on general accounting.
• Process payments for foreign suppliers, primarily in the United States and China.
• Contact suppliers/internal buyers to resolve errors in partial or duplicate shipments, prices, substitutions, among others, and collaborate with them to resolve discrepancies.
• Schedule and process supplier payments in accordance with company policies.
• Responsible for monthly closing activities and financial reporting related to the area.
• Provide information and reports to external auditors.
• Assist with other accounting activities.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like pivot tables and v-lookups.
