Position Focus:
Design supporting components using a combination of AutoCAD software and CAD applications for product redesign, enhancement, or upgrades.

Primary Requirements:

Bilingual - Spanish / English, conversational, advanced, and written.
1 to 3 years of AutoCAD proficiency.
Experience in manufacturing industries.
AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
Very good communication skills with internal clients and superiors.

Main Job Duties:

Prepare proposals, presentations, and manufacturing documentation using custom AutoCAD applications.
Provide design support for internal clients and support with the corporate design team.
Provide quote support by preparing bills of materials for various product families from client-provided electrical floor plans, case drawings, and elevations.
Perform other similar and related duties as needed.

Requirements: 

Education: Industrial Engineering / Bachelor's Degree, Electrical

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an industry related to manufacturing processes.

Advanced conversational and written English

Skills/Knowledge:

Strong electrical, product, or industrial design skills.
Experience in AutoCAD is required.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and understand drawings (mechanical, electrical), complete layouts and takeoffs in designs, proposals, presentations, installation drawings, as well as bills of materials/cut lists.
Ability to read and understand specifications.
Basic understanding of electrical principles, NEC and UL code requirements preferred.
Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work in a cross-functional and multicultural team.
