(Generic Description)

Develop the necessary Software, Hardware and Custom items required to Test Electrical/Electronic Products according to Customer requirements.

Supports the Test Development Leader to generate the necessary Quote of Test Solutions.

Supports the Test Development Leader to complete and generate Assessment on Test Strategy and adheres to the Full Test Development Cycle.

HABILIDADES TECNICAS (BASADAS EN EL TRABAJO)

(Technical / Work-Based Skills)

1. Electronics/Electrical Engineer
2. 5+ Years of experience developing Functional Test Equipment.

Software Tools:

• C# Based programming
• Visual Studio, focused in VB / VC# programming
• National Instruments LabVIEW development
• SPEA Leonardo

1. 5+ Years of experience delivering engineering solutions including Fixture design, concept and validation.
2. 5+ Years of experience in support or programming on any of the following Structural Test platforms.

• ICT
• Flying Head Probe Test

1. Strong Electronics Hardware and Systems knowledge

• Able to describe product functionality based on electrical schematics.
• Able to develop fundamental electronics circuits.
• Communication Protocols implementation Experience, RF Products is a plus.

1. Strong experience in definition and understanding of Process Test Plans.

• Design for Testability (DFT)
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

1. Strong experience in production release of new and transferred Test equipment systems.

• Verification and validation processes
• Release to production studies

1. Proficient at statistical analysis and technical problem solving.

CONOCIMIENTOS ESPECIFICOS

(Specific Knowledge)

1. Labview, Visual Basic, Visual .Net, C# Based programming.
2. Strong knowledge in electrical circuit analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of Measurement Equipment.
4. Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, Modbus, TCPIP, RS485, RS232, I2C, RF Based.
5. RF Working knowledge and Experience using Instrumentation.

RESPONSABILIDADES / FUNCIONES

(Responsibilities - Functions)

1. Supports the Test Development Leader to deploy the Test Strategy Collaborate with Peers and Test Development Engineers in order to find the best fit Solutions
2. Make use of the Test Development Procedures and Tools, in order to Effectively Document the Test Development Quote and Development Processes, promotes Standardization.
3. Demonstrate high levels of Internal and External Customers Focus and Service attitude.
4. Ensure Effective Communication with customers and suppliers
5. Develop and Implements Improvement Plans to Existing Products.
6. Drive acquisition of necessary Equipment and Gear.
7. Perform CPK and GR&R. ensure all improvement Actions identified in the released Cycle are completed and effective.
8. Upgrade to the test equipment when required
9. Provide tools and spare parts needed for maintenance and repairing tasks.
10. Validate new product and equipment introductions
11. Ensure achievement of the site goals such as safety, quality results, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery.
12. Perform DFT's
