Goals:
Investigate quality issues and initiate and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure that employees receive IPC training and other customer-required training as needed to meet quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• NCMR Technical Process

  • Review NCMRs to determine the root cause of the issue, as needed.

  • Work with production to correct processes/materials to prevent recurrence.

  • Provide written 8D reports to customers.

  • Provide technical guidance on required actions and rework procedures for activities defined as CTQ.

  • Work with rework personnel and the Technical Department to create instructions, as needed.

• Review Aegis instructions, build boards, fixtures, and visual aids to ensure compliance with quality procedures and customer requirements.

• Follow up on Corrective Action Requests (Q3) in the company

• Follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (Q2/SCAR).

• Data analysis, troubleshooting, and system closure.

• Data analysis and reporting to customers.

• IPC-620/UL/CSA training, as needed.

• Coordinate with appropriate departments to assess potential production processes.

• Verify router flow for NPI.

• Create a plan for product transfer review when moving production from one facility to another.

• Prepare and conduct FAI, feedback, and PPAP.

• Other duties as assigned.

IPC-A-620 CIT/CIS: CIS Training Instructor (Quality and Production)

Requirements:

• +3 year of experience in a similar position

• In-depth knowledge of all aspects related to the production of harnesses, precision electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical subassemblies.

• Knowledge of harness assembly and manufacturing requirements according to IPC-A-620.

• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

• Bilingual Spanish / English
