Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Spanish-Mandarin Translator to join our team. As a translator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication between Spanish and Mandarin-speaking audiences. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both Spanish and Mandarin, as well as a deep understanding of both cultures.

Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, including emails, reports, and marketing materials, from Spanish to Mandarin and vice versa.
• Interpret verbal communication accurately during meetings, conferences, and other events as needed.
• Ensure that translated materials maintain the style, tone, and context of the original content.
• Collaborate with colleagues to clarify translation queries and ensure accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and linguistic nuances in both Spanish and Mandarin.
• Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure grammatical correctness and readability.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Spanish and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Certifications in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in translation software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to linguistic nuances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
