Supply Chain Manager
Objective:
Ensure timely delivery of goods to customer, optimization of inventory structure, warehouse management and implementation of worldwide Standards & best practice.
Main Functions:
- Operation of all plant warehouses (raw material, semi-finished parts, finished goods, MRO)
- Accuracy of inventory levels vs SAP & permanent inventory optimization (reduction of WoC)
- Implementation of and compliance with all EHS policies in all warehouses and in the Logistics processes relevant to the local operations (as defined by plant EHS responsible)
- Assure timely delivery of raw materials in line with the needs of the internal customer to handover area from Production
- Organization & optimization of in- and outbound freights (incl. launching RFQs for inbound and outbound freight and implementing results)
- Coordination of demands/demand changes with customers
- Mapping of customer demands into detailed production planning with SAP on article and weekly basis
- Management of returnable (plant2customer & plant2supplier, ICO; inventory correctness, availability, cost
- Process owner of all plant logistics processes (physically & SAP)
- Improvement of cost, efficiency, and quality of all plant logistics processes
- Creation of local logistics process and management manuals on basis of corporate and group standards as well as customer requirements
- Development & training of SCM staff
- Phase in/out management (incl. full management of obsolescence and slow mover process)
- Definition of SCM concepts, packaging and costs in new customer projects
Required Knowledge:

Required Experience:
- Min. 3 years within a corporation in SCM or project management in Automotive Business
- Experience as member in a project team in one customer project; structured problem solving; customer specific requirement knowledge; customer portal.
- experience as group leader in an SCM team
- degree in supply chain management or business, min. 2 languages, English is mandatory
- Not requested but preferably has gained intercultural know-how in e.g. international project
