Senior Production Supervisor (Textile Manufacturing)
Results-driven manufacturing professional responsible for leading daily textile production operations, ensuring the achievement of production schedules while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. Experienced in supervising teams of 30+ employees, optimizing resources, ensuring operational continuity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a fast-paced textile manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in textile manufacturing processes, production line balancing, workforce management, inventory control, and performance metrics analysis. Actively contributes to Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kanban, and operational safety initiatives to maximize productivity, improve product quality, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily textile production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, driving employee engagement, training, and performance improvement.
- Ensure proper production line balancing and efficient utilization of labor, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventories to maintain accuracy and uninterrupted production flow.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, waste reduction, cost optimization, and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, operating procedures, and customer requirements.
- Analyze production KPIs and operational metrics, developing and executing corrective action plans to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support operational excellence.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing supervision, preferably within the textile industry.
- Proven experience leading high-volume production teams and managing complex manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kanban, inventory management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced English proficiency for technical, operational, and cross-functional communication.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced textile manufacturing environment while meeting demanding production deadlines.
