Description

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the industrialization of new products. Interfaces with the Operations Hubs via Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Test Engineering.

As Program Manager, he/she oversees all projects of his/her customer base. Technical Program Manager (TPM) are responsible for the MAKE side of the customer relationship. They industrialize customer projects along the entire value chain working together with the specialists of the assigned operations site.
- They focus on costs, quality, flexibility and availability when defining and implementing the manufacturing strategy.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Task of Technical Program Manager

Set up Calculation folder
-
Facilitate and prepare quote calculations for materials. Perform material scrubbing

Request PCB panel for Eng.
-
Complete Supplier questionnaire (as needed)
-
Provide special tooling, and process engineering
-
Facilitate customer engineer meeting
-
Fill out NPI checklist and submit to Technical
-
Conduct ECN reviews and sign-off
-
Work w/ Technical on BOM set-up
-
Discuss router w/ Planning
-
Conduct PPAP external FAI follow-up
-
Communicate w/ customers on build issues
-
Help resolve Testing issues
-
Issue deviations and get signatures
-
Facilitate SCARs
-
Resolve technical RMA follow-up and contribute toward resolving quality issues
-
Communicate PCN notifications
-
Resolve Process issues and changes
-
Attend customer technical meetings
-
Advise on second sources, technical clarifications and production issues
-
Offer to examine MPC/PPC
-
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
-
Thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
-
5+ years of experience in sales/account management/electronics environment
-
ERP (SAP) experience
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Customer service oriented
-
Bilingual Spanish/English
