Objective

Develop the required Software, Hardware, and Custom Items to test Electrical/Electronic Products according to customer requirements.
Support the Test Development Leader in generating accurate Test Solution Quotes, completing Test Strategy Assessments, and ensuring alignment with the full Test Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the Test Development Leader in executing the overall test strategy
• Collaborate with peers and engineers to determine optimal test solutions
• Apply standardized test development procedures and tools
• Promote documentation and process standardization throughout the test development cycle
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers
• Develop and implement improvement plans for existing products and systems
• Drive acquisition of tools, equipment, and spare parts for test systems
• Perform and evaluate statistical studies such as CPK and GR&R, ensuring follow-through on improvement actions
• Manage test equipment upgrades when needed
• Validate new product and equipment introductions
• Ensure compliance with site goals including safety, quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction
• Perform Design for Testability (DFT) assessments

Technical Skills

Education & Background

• Electronics/Electrical Engineer
• 5+ years of experience developing Functional Test Equipment
• Strong understanding of electronics hardware and systems

Software & Tools

• Proficient in C#-based programming
• Experience with Visual Studio (VB / VC#)
• National Instruments LabVIEW
• SPEA Leonardo
• Skilled in structural test platforms: In-Circuit Test (ICT), Flying Probe Test

Engineering Expertise

• 5+ years of experience delivering engineering solutions, including fixture design, concept development, and validation
• Strong understanding of process test plans, including:
• Design for Testability (DFT)
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Solid knowledge of verification, validation, and release-to-production processes
• Proficient in statistical analysis, CPK, GR&R, and technical problem-solving
• Communication protocol implementation (CAN, SPI, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS485, RS232, I2C, RF is a plus)
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and develop basic electronics circuits
• Working knowledge of RF and instrumentation usage
