Descripción
Design, optimize, and control manufacturing processes for the production of pest control traps, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, cost reduction, and compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Design and document work instructions and operating procedures. Conduct time and motion studies.
• Balance production lines to optimize resources. Implement continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing).
• Reduce waste and operational costs. Ensure compliance with quality standards in processes.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI). Validate manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and production teams.
• Train operational personnel on new processes or improvements.
• Identify process risks and propose corrective actions.
• Optimize plant layout.
• Support the selection and evaluation of new equipment or machinery.
• Collaborate on plant expansion or reengineering projects.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Conduct pilot tests or validation runs.
• Support analysis of product failures in the field.
• Travel to other plants or suppliers (as required).
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (completed).
• Experience in assembly processes, plastic injection molding, metal-mechanical manufacturing, or mass production.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM). Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Time and motion analysis. Production line balancing. Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, Ishikawa, 8D). Industrial safety and environmental standards.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (preferred).
• Advanced English.
• Valid visa and willingness to travel
