Job Purpose

Develop, design, and optimize products, structures, or components using specialized 3D design software, ensuring the functionality, quality, aesthetics, and manufacturability of the company's projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and renderings of products or structures.

• Interpret design requirements from clients or the sales department.

• Collaborate with the production, quality, and purchasing departments to validate the technical feasibility of designs.

• Generate technical documentation (drawings, bills of materials, specifications).

• Participate in product development and continuous improvement meetings.

• Ensure that designs comply with internal quality and safety standards.

• Perform simulations or virtual tests when required by the project.

• Propose improvements to materials, processes, or design methods to optimize manufacturing costs and timelines.

• Provide technical support to the production department during the manufacturing or installation of projects.

• Maintain an up-to-date digital archive of designs and backups

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Rhino, SketchUp, or 3ds Max.

• Knowledge of technical drawings, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings.

• Basic knowledge of strength analysis or simulation (desirable).

• Creativity, precision, and attention to detail.

• Collaborative work and effective communication with different departments.

• Ability to hold a conversation in English.

• Previous experience in furniture or fixture manufacturing is a plus.

• Monday to Friday: 7am to 5pm
