Resident Quality Engineer
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years in quality control, inspection, or on-site customer representation. Previous experience in automotive, metal-mechanics, or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Blueprint and specification interpretation.
- Basic quality tools (5 Whys, inspection sheets, visual controls).
- Proficient in Excel, email, and technical reporting.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards (preferred).
- Advance English
Main Responsibilities
- Address and follow up on non-conformity reports generated at the client’s plant.
- Perform on-site visual and functional product inspections.
- Coordinate rework or containment activities with internal or external teams.
- Collect photographic evidence, documentation, and failure analysis reports.
- Immediately report critical incidents to the quality and production teams.
- Represent the company in quality meetings with the client.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and client standards.
- Support continuous improvement activities at the client’s site.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or event-based reports on findings and actions taken.
