Job Title: D365 Finance & Operations Business Analyst (F&O / MRP Focus)
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and ERP ecosystems.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), particularly in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and MRP modules.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes: finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, production, and planning.
- Proven experience with MRP execution, production planning, and master planning within D365 F&O.
- Hands-on experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Knowledge of data migration, conversions, and system integration techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent client relationship skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders at all levels.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to document processes, create functional specifications, and translate business needs into system solutions.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on ERP experience with at least 2+ years in D365 F&O.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business users to understand processes, focusing on supply chain, production, and MRP functionality.
- Analyze, document, and validate functional requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and D365 F&O capabilities.
- Support end-to-end implementation of D365 F&O, including configuration, testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Create and maintain functional design documents (FDDs), process flow diagrams, training materials, and user guides.
- Collaborate with technical teams to test and validate customizations, integrations, and system updates.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to optimize master planning, forecasting, and production scheduling processes.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support for D365 F&O, ensuring stability of live environments.
- Identify system gaps, recommend improvements, and implement solutions leveraging standard MRP and planning functionality before considering customization.
- Assist with security configuration, managing user roles, duties, and privileges.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective resolutions.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Continuously monitor new D365 F&O features, updates, and industry trends to recommend best practices.
