Looking for an Engineering Operations Analyst to provide operational support for project roadmaps. Responsibilities include managing and inputting data, developing data entry tools and workflows, and assisting operations and engineering leads with manufacturing and operational data management.

• Manage manufacturing forecasting, tracking, and reporting to enable downstream planning and maintain accuracy.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly comparative analyses of plans versus actuals.
• Review and validate monthly data inputs for correctness and reasonableness.
• Support monthly operational reporting activities.
• Maintain data consistency across all systems and spreadsheets to uphold data integrity.
• Assist in preparing presentations and monitoring internal/external action items.
• Identify potential areas for improvement and participate in implementing enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of data accuracy tools.
• Collaborate on refining processes and reporting practices to improve overall efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to assist global engineering teams in reaching their objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data management and analysis using Excel, TM1, Tempus, Microsoft Power Apps, or related programs.
• Experience supporting engineering operations, finance, projects, or program management.
• Ability to learn new processes and tools efficiently.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, Sumifs, Xlookup).
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing responsibilities, and communicating issues when necessary.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication; able to effectively document and organize work while collaborating with both local and remote teams. Skilled in presenting information clearly to varied audiences.
• Experienced in utilizing AI tools and technologies to automate tasks and enhance workflow efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluency in English (>95% verbal and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills; able to document and organize work thoroughly while working with both local and remote teams.

General Summary:

Qualcomm is actively seeking a thermal engineer for the Design Technology (Dtech) SoC thermal analysis team. The candidate would deliver critical thermal analysis results to enable key product decisions, develop and drive implementation of new thermal analysis methodologies, and work to optimize thermally constrained SoC performance for Qualcomm’s mobile and compute products. 

The candidate will engage in the following tasks:

• Support SoC design by providing thermal analysis throughout the product development cycle to identify and address thermal risks, including thermal analysis, post silicon validation and working with external customers.
• Conduct SoC level thermal analysis to support architecture and product specification studies and Power Performance Area Thermal Optimization.
• Model and recommend SoC-level floorplan, performance, and thermal control optimization.
• Develop new computational thermal methodologies and software tools, develop and implement new work processes to enable scalability and efficiency, work with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in heat transfer and fluid mechanics simulation methods and fundamentals (CFD or FEM) through graduate level course work or industry experience.
• Strong background in computer programming for numerical simulation and scripting skills for automation.
• Experience with thermal simulation methodologies and simulation tools such as ANSYS ICEPAK
• Experience with measurement: IR camera, thermocouples
• Experience with thermal materials: Graphite sheet, thermal paste, TIM, heat pipe.
• The candidate should have excellent people skills and used to operating in networked and virtual team environments. Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent and resourceful problem solver. Outstanding oral and written communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner. Active listening ability. The candidate should be able to establish relationships to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization in appropriate manners.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years as a thermal engineer with a demonstrated competence in thermal analysis methodologies, strong physics knowledge, and experience interacting with external teams

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with a demonstrated competence in developing and driving thermal analysis methodologies and analysis and experience interacting with external teams
