Position Summary

Coordinate, control, and maintain technical documentation related to manufacturing processes, engineering changes, production routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and special processes. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate implementation of engineering changes, material validation activities, and support for new product introductions. Additionally, the position ensures production information remains current and drives continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, performance metrics, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through implementation and final closure.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, including BOMs, routings, procedures, visual aids, and work instructions.
  • Coordinate the implementation of process and engineering changes, ensuring proper communication, documentation, and execution.
  • Supervise and provide follow-up to personnel responsible for special production processes.
  • Coordinate the validation of parts, engineering samples, and testing activities related to new components or supplier changes.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide technical assistance during product launches.
  • Develop, analyze, and present departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing tools and data-driven analysis.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities focused on quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate-Advanced to Advanced English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), production routings, process documentation, and change control.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
  • Experience developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
