Master Data Specialist

The Master Data Specialist will support the Supply Chain team by inputting and maintaining all data parameters into our systems to ensure they work as intended.

Responsibilities: 

• Manages all master data inputs to key supply chain systems: Demand Planning, Procurement, and Sourcing.
• Enforces master data policies by working closely with data functional owners and/or IT department to ensure master data integrity.
• Conducts data integrity audit to detect inconsistencies.
• Processes supplier price updates and updates PO’s as necessary in Microsoft AX.
• Participates in the new part number process, reviewing and updating all the necessary parameters in Microsoft AX.
• Understands the impact of master data within the organization and supporting systems.
• Works directly with internal customers to ensure data requests are complete and comply with specifications.
• Creates and maintains standard operating procedures related to master data (SOP).
• Participates in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) process to ensure Master Data changes are performed.
• Participates in Test Cycles and User Acceptance Testing sessions for process enhancements to ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Ability to analyze large amounts of data, interpret, and make sound decisions.
• 3 or more years of Master Data maintenance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• General understanding of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX, Great Plains).
• APICS CPIM or CSCP designation (preferred).
