Job responsabilities:

  1. Support FATP testing system setup, including test equipment installation, basic debugging, verification, and related documentation.

  2. Perform daily inspection, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and routine maintenance of test equipment.

  3. Identify and troubleshoot test equipment abnormalities, and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  4. Support Test Engineering in test equipment efficiency improvement activities, including FPY improvement and reduction of testing NTF.

  5. Prepare and update basic equipment operation SOPs and provide guidance to production operators on standard equipment operation.

  6. Support CPK and GRR studies and maintain the required test equipment records and data.

Job requirements:

  1. Technical degree or equivalent relevant experience in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related technical fields; college degree preferred but not required.

  2. At least 2 years of relevant experience in testing equipment, equipment maintenance, electronics manufacturing, or a related manufacturing environment.

  3. Good ability to work under pressure and adapt to the company's manufacturing environment and required working schedules.

  4. Ability to work independently on routine equipment issues while maintaining good teamwork and escalating complex technical issues when required.

Skills:

  1. Hands-on experience with test equipment and test fixture setup, adjustment, basic debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  2. Familiarity with test system hardware and software configuration, including basic parameter settings and operational verification.

  3. Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and network infrastructure used in testing equipment and production lines, with the ability to perform basic inspections and troubleshooting.

  4. Familiarity with acoustic, optical, electrical, and sensor-based testing and debugging methods; hands-on experience is preferred.

  5. Familiarity with the basics of the Kazam framework is preferred; training can be provided if required.

To work in Otay, Tijuana.
