Project Design Engineer

Role

System design, system layout and supporting component design using a combination of various CAD software and custom applications.
 
Main job duties
  • Prepare proposals, submittals, installation drawings and manufacturing documentation using custom AutoCAD applications.
  • Provide technical support for internal customers, as well as phone support for external customers.
  • Provide quote support by preparing material take off’s for various product families from customer provided electrical floor plans, casework drawings and elevations.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
 
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years experience in a related industry preferred. 
  • Advanced English. 
 
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
  • AutoCAD experience required.
  • SolidWorks experience a plus. 
  • Ability to read and understand drawings: mechanical, electrical, architectural; complete take off's, proposals, submittals and installation drawings as well as bills of material / cut lists. 
  • Ability to red and understand specs. 
  • Basic understanding of Electrical principles: NEC code requirements, UL preferred. 
 
 
To work from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm in El Pacífico Industrial Park.
