At SLT our vision is “To Design, Develop & Deliver (3D's) best-in-class system test solutions to exceed every Customer’s Quality goal at lowest Cost using the most advanced technologies of the silicon industry.” The system level test group is responsible to stress and break the system on leading-edge products in the most advanced processes. In this role, you will be a member of a team working on IC design review, IC hardware testing, software development, system engineering, and customer applications.
Responsibilities for this position include the development of software programs and tools to increase the SLT engineering team's efficiency, automating equipment, developing drivers, and user interfaces. They also include analysis and dashboarding of automated test-generated parameters for broader team consumption. The engineer will also partner with software teams to evaluate integrated system (digital / RF) performance at various operating conditions (voltage, process, and thermal), while also developing effective production screens for system-level issues during volume ramp.
Work will also include working with team project leads to develop effective production screens for system-level issues. The individual selected for the position needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work at times as an individual contributor, and be passionate about delivering quality work.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-3 years of hands-on silicon validation experience ranging across System/SW/bench test/HW-SW interactions, preferably in the mobile devices/auto/compute/microprocessor industry.
- Experience with programming languages: C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, Python.
- Experience in software architecture, unit test, software development cycle.
- Experience working with Perforce, GIT, or other Source Control SW.
- Experience with debugging or triage using Android debugging tools, JTAG, Lauterbach, or Trace32.
- Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems (Android, Windows, Linux, or RTOS).
- Embedded SW development / FPGA programming.
- Experience in analyzing specifications, HW schematics/data sheets, and developing silicon validation test cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fresh college graduates with relevant interests and intern experience are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of Android Architecture, Android Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP, and Android Performance.
- SW development exposure to Android/Windows/Linux platform is a plus.
- Exposure in using measurement equipment, e.g., Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Wireless Network Simulators.
Education Requirements
BSEE or equivalent required, MSEE or equivalent preferred.
