The Senior Engineering Technician is responsible for providing advanced technical support to the Bench Test Engineering (BTE) team. This role focuses on building, configuring, calibrating, maintaining, and debugging test benches to ensure reliable and accurate operation. The position also supports laboratory coordination activities, including bench resource scheduling and workflow organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced debugging and failure analysis on RF boards, modules, and mixed-signal assemblies
- Conduct RF measurements using Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Signal Generators, Power Meters, and oscilloscopes
- Analyze RF performance parameters including return loss, insertion loss, impedance, harmonic content, noise floor, gain, and S-parameters
- Provide detailed failure analysis reports, test results, and technical recommendations
- Execute bench setups, calibration routines, and RF test procedures
- Interpret electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and component datasheets
- Perform board-level rework, including RF components and shielding
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and test setups
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Hardware, and Quality teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronic testing, including at least 3 years of RF experience
- Strong proficiency with RF test equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and PCB documentation
- Ability to write technical reports in English
- Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF circuit design concepts
- Experience in RF production test or validation laboratories
- Familiarity with RF simulation tools
- Experience with digital and mixed-signal systems
- Skilled in SMT soldering and board-level rework
- Background in high-tech or wireless industries
- Experience using Microsoft 365 tools
