Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor ensures all manufacturing processes run efficiently while coordinating personnel to achieve company goals.

This role focuses heavily on safetyqualityvolume, and cost optimization. The supervisor is responsible for managing resources (human and material) and fostering a stable, professional work environment through honest communication across all departments. 

Main Functions

  • Talent Management: Lead the interviewing, hiring, and continuous training of subordinates to build a high-performing team.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement cost-saving strategies and optimize production records (KPIs) to drive efficiency.

  • Customer Commitment: Ensure all customer requirements are met accurately and on schedule.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain direct and effective communication with all plant departments to achieve shared objectives.

  • Leadership & Culture: Foster a high-standard work environment through motivation, teamwork, and proactive conflict resolution.

  • Resource Oversight: Manage professional scheduling and evaluate the condition of production equipment to minimize downtime.

  • Standard Compliance: Prioritize safety and quality in every task, ensuring full adherence to plant protocols. 

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Leadership: Proven ability in conflict management, decision-making, and taking ownership of area results.

  • Problem Solving: A proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency in resolving operational bottlenecks.

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep operational knowledge combined with a dynamic, results-oriented mindset.

Technical Knowledge

  • Operational Standards: Expert knowledge in area conservation, safety protocols, and quality-first methodologies.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in production, packaging, machine setup, and ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR).

  • Continuous Improvement: Mastery of Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving tools (5 Whys, 8Ds, PDCA, Ishikawa).

  • Regulatory Compliance: Applied knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. 

Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Languages80–85% Technical English proficiency (fluent/business level).
