The Mission:

As our CQE Engineer for the Mexico startup, you are the primary bridge between our manufacturing facility and our global customers. You will be responsible for translating high-level customer expectations into actionable factory-floor quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in securing customer trust through rigorous validation, transparent communication, and rapid-response problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Advocacy & Crisis Management

  • Strategic Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for Customer Quality and R&D teams regarding technical requirements and quality performance.

  • Complaint Resolution: Lead the 8D Problem Solving process for all customer complaints, ensuring root causes are identified and permanent corrective actions are validated.

2. Product Lifecycle & Reliability Testing

  • Reliability Oversight: Design and manage mass-production reliability testing (ORT - Ongoing Reliability Test) to ensure products meet long-term performance standards.

  • Data Intelligence: Systematically collect, analyze, and report on field/factory quality data to identify trends before they become critical failures.

3. Quality System Architecture (Startup Focus)

  • Documentation Standards: Create and maintain the technical "Quality Bible" for the plant, including Inspection Standards (SIP)Control Plans, and Golden Samples.

  • Audit Leadership: Coordinate and lead customer site audits, ensuring the plant is "audit-ready" at all times and managing the closure of any findings.

4. Continuous Improvement & Follow-up

  • Closed-Loop Quality: Drive cross-functional teams (PE, Production, Supply Chain) to execute quality improvement actions (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness on the shop floor.

  • Requirement Deployment: Ensure that unique customer "Critical to Quality" (CTQ) requirements are clearly communicated and integrated into the local production lines.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of specialized CQE experience, ideally within the Consumer Electronics sectors.

  • Communication: Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory for direct customer negotiation and global reporting.

Technical Toolkit:

  • Mastery of Quality Tools: 8D, Five Whys, Fishbone, and PPAP/APQP.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.

  • Traits: High "Customer Intelligence"—the ability to remain calm under pressure and advocate for the company while satisfying customer demands.
