Job Description

The ideal candidate is strong in methodology development, including defining and running testcases, performing data analysis and making data-based decisions on the path forward, and scripting/software development. 

The candidate should be able to identify problem statements in the current methodology and propose and implement improvements and new solutions. And will play a vital role in optimizing product PPA (performance, power, area)  in advanced process nodes.

The candidate should be proficient in static timing analysis using the Synopsys Primetime toolset and should have strong coding skills in scripting languages such as Python, TCL, or Perl.  Additional domain knowledge including place and route tools and concepts, power analysis and optimization, or IR drop analysis and optimization are also helpful.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in electrical engineering.
  • Expertise in static timing analysis.
  • Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, TCL, Perl.
  • Strong methodology development background.
  • Strong analysis and communication skills.

Helpful Experience

  • Familiarity with Ansys Redhawk/RHSC and PDN concepts.
  • Good insight in designing flows and software structure.
  • Familiarity with Place and Route tools and concepts.
  • Familiarity with post-silicon concepts, such as ATPG vectors and test, silicon debug, defect and parametric limited yield.
  • Familiarity with HSPICE and transistor-level behavior.
