Operational Procurement – Factory Buyer (m/f)
What will you do?
• For assigned components and materials, you consolidate needs and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely availability and optimal stocks. You update commercial conditions, conduct the selection of alternative suppliers and follow the given project procurement deadlines in cooperation with Customer Buyers.
• You control the availability of materials, actively monitor and minimize delays in deliveries through close cooperation with suppliers and the internal PPS department.
• You accelerate deliveries in case of earlier needs (pull-in), manage order changes due to production shifts or order cancellations and update statuses in SAP (SCX).
• You support continuous improvement of the supply chain - you propose procurement optimization, actively provide suggestions for improvement to strategic procurement and participate in automated inventory renewal initiatives (VSA, EDI, etc.).
• You maintain accurate and up-to-date master data in SAP for all assigned components - including pricing, commercial terms, packaging and safety stock.
• You collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization - including planners, strategic and customer buyers, SQE and suppliers, with the aim of ensuring efficient and secure procurement.
Your qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in operational procurement or project-driven industry
• Experience in teamwork, especially in interdisciplinary teams (development, production, quality, logistics)
• High-level organizational skills - you know how to set priorities, manage time and manage multiple tasks and projects in parallel
• Excellent communication skills, both in cooperation with internal teams and in relations with suppliers and customers
• Analytical thinking and solution orientation - you are able to make decisions based on data
• Good knowledge of SAP in the area of procurement and inventory management and proficiency in MS Office tools
• Fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written
