The Structural & MEP Support Engineer plays a key role in bridging the gap between engineering design, production execution, and on-site coordination at Juarez facility. This position combines a strong foundation in structural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems with hands-on production support, ensuring that engineering intent is accurately translated to the shop floor. The engineer will generate material take-offs from plan sets, assist in preparing project-specific bills of materials (BOMs), and act as a technical point of contact for installation crews during complex MEP builds.
In addition to supporting design implementation, this engineer will actively guide production teams when questions arise during fabrication or installation - particularly in cases where HVAC layout, electrical routing, or structural modifications require clarification. Although not a supervisor, this individual will function as a field-level engineering liaison, helping troubleshoot issues, interpret drawings, and ensure that units are built to spec.
The Structural & MEP Support Engineer also plays a vital role during state modular certification inspections, serving as the on-site engineering representative. This includes coordinating readiness efforts, responding to inspector inquiries in real time, and working closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure regulatory compliance. As the Juarez-based extension of the engineering team, this person is expected to maintain high technical standards, clear communication across departments, and a proactive mindset in resolving field-level issues.
