Job Description

A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for its cutting-edge design center located in the Santa Fe area of Tijuana. This role focuses on testing and validating next-generation cloud-connected systems. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of connected technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for connected applications and services.
  • Collaborate with development teams to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Automate and optimize test processes across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Conduct performance, scalability, load, and backwards compatibility testing.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems involving embedded and cloud components.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test engineering or a closely related field.
  • Solid background in end-to-end testing of cloud-based and IoT/connected systems.
  • Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud service providers.
  • Knowledge of embedded platforms such as Linux, Android, or QNX.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including experience working with external customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Experience in automation testing and developing test scripts.
  • Background in embedded software testing on platforms like Linux/Android/QNX.
