Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Lead and manage the 1st shift team to meet production goals, ensure high-quality output, and maintain safety standards.
- Digital Printing Operation: Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of digital printing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production processes and collaborate with other departments to implement best practices in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Training & Development: Train team members on digital printing equipment, lean practices, safety protocols, and company procedures to build a skilled, high-performing workforce.
- Quality Control: Monitor and inspect printed products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments and corrections as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain production records, track team performance, and report on key metrics to upper management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a production/printing environment with hands-on experience in digital printing equipment (UV, heat transfer, laser, screen printing, etc.).
- Lean Manufacturing: Solid understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing principles.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including familiarity with print management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production or equipment issues effectively.
